I would like to acknowledge that I am a duly qualified practitioner in the province of British Columbia. Following completion of my medical degree at the University of Toronto in 1981, I completed an internship, followed by a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Western Ontario in 1986. Following completion of my fellowship examinations, I spent 3 six month fellowships at the University of Toronto, the University of British Columbia, and the Mayo Clinic. These provided me with additional expertise in upper extremity and knee problems. I am currently appointed as an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of British Columbia, Associate Head of the Department of Orthopaedics at Vancouver Acute - UBC Hospital, Head of the Division of Hand & Upper Extremity Reconstruction in the Department of Orthopaedics, and practice out of the Allan McGavin Sports Medicine Centre. My practice is dedicated to disorders of the upper extremity and knee.
